Nature Park Fun

Today was a really fun day, I loaded up my favorite subject to shoot (my dearest daughter, the most photographed kid in the world it seems like) and we ran out to the "Nature Park". She was pretty much in a "I want to be a tough girl" mode, so we went with that.

Here are just a few of the shots I took today, like em?

Of course this next one was photo-shopped. I wanted something to get artsy, I really like the effect....

Experimenting

This is an image I took yesterday that I sat down and had time to play with today. I have seen a couple of really well known horse photographers doing this type of portrait/art technique on images, and decided to give it a try. Seldom do I find time just to play these days....

It would be a great way to hide an awful background, but what I envision is a huge canvas wall portrait... What do ya think?

Summer Wedding

My congratulations to Heather and Tom.

It was so much fun to photograph this couple, they were wonderful. The wedding was gorgeous, and the day was perfect! Many happy years to come for you both, best of wishes to you two, and thank you for choosing me to record your special day!

Cutie Pies!

At a recent family shoot, this brother and sister stole my heart. I had so much fun, and just couldn't stop shooting. Everything seemed to be magic, and I hope they love the images as much as I did!

Thanks for such a great day!

Bad Blogger

Well, slap my hands, I have been a very bad blogger!

It has been a fun filled and extremely busy summer for me so far. On top of shooting so much great stuff, I have had the pleasure of having my mother in law stay with us for the past month, visiting from South Africa! It really was a pleasure, and we were sad to have her go yesterday. We toured the States of Oregon and Washington and got in as much site seeing along the way as we could. I am sure we wore her out! She will no doubt have to go home and rest up.

Having said that, in between, I have done quite a few shoots! I will post from a couple next.

Also, stay tuned, I have dropped the ball on my first ever contest, and will be revealing the winner in next months newsletter and here as well soon!
