Oregon Bird Dog Challenge

Last weekend I went out and shot one of the Oregon Bird Dog Challenges. It was a learning experience and so much fun. What a great group of people. So now I have some time to think it through, and work out the kinks, and streamline a bit next time. Thank you so much for having me Kirsten! Here's a few shots from the morning.

Proofing

Here's a sample of a post card I am going to do up, to give out and set out at an upcoming show I am shooting for. Anyone have suggestions, or do you like it the way it is...

More like this Lori? Good idea!

fun frames

I have something close to 800 edge effects, frames and more for seniors, it's mind boggling. I have yet to come up with a good way to show samples of everything online.

I pulled a few photos, and effects that I liked today and here's just a sample of what kind of things that can be done, the possibilities are endless.

Senior Portraits

Meet Tessa, I had a blast photographing her this evening, she is such a natural. We had the weirdest weather today, it went from windy, freezing, to rain, to hail, to snow, to sun, and overcast. Every hour was something new. When the time came for the session, I wasn't quite sure which way is would go for us, seems we were blessed, the skies opened up with a little window just for us.

Here's some shots, there are so so so many great ones, I grabbed a few randomly. Enjoy!

Meet Goober

While out shooting yesterday I snapped off a few shots here and there in between horse getting ready.

This is "Goober" a close to 70 lb (if I got that right), Tom turkey. I was fascinated with him, I could have spent an hour following just him around :) There were lots of things I could have spent time shooting there, but alas, that's not what I went for... Back on track Cyndie.....

Just thought I would share. they had really neat chickens too! Enjoy;

Flashy fun

In trying to offer easier online proofing and ordering, I recently switched services again, and I am trying out another company. Here's a link, take a peek and let me know how you like it. Of course it's still in mid-development, so some things are not filled in yet. I will get it done, I promise !

Fine Art

I have this "fine Art" assignment that has been driving me crazy, I am a portrait-person-animal type photographer mostly, not abstract and fine artsy usually.... I am finding this is really fun! Here are a couple of shots I took today, it's nice to get a bit out of my comfort zone and play once in a while! It still may not be "fine art" but it's closer for me...

Don't forget, you can click on the image for a bigger view of it.

And of course, something a little different with "Summer" too:

April

Wow, It's April already, time is still flying by. Here's a few shots I took playing around in the back yard today. I just wanted to share... I have sessions coming up soon, but don't forget to book with me if you want to get in on some great spring images, it won't last long!

Imagine this being your child :)
