Contest
Babies babies babies!
We are having a baby photo contest, any kind of baby, human, equine, canine, you name it as long as it was born this year.
Two ways to win: Send in a photo that you have taken of your "baby", or sign up for our newsletter (or get a friend too and mention your name) and be entered to win a free photo shoot. Please be sure to include the baby's details! (Name, Mother, Father, date born, vitals, farm name, whatever applies) and we will post them on our blog as they come in through-out the month.
Prize includes a one hour photo session resulting in 12 - 20 image proofs online and one 8x10 photograph. If you are not local or have no need for a photo shoot, you may email us an image and we will make you your own coffee mug or mouse pad with your baby's image on it.
*Travel expenses for travel over 45 miles to be paid by the winner. Additional prints or image files may be purchased at published rates. The winner will be drawn randomly on May 31st from all eligible entries and posted on our blog. Session must be scheduled before June 15th 2007 and finished before Sept 15 2007 or prize is forfeit.

Still lots to learn...
Here's a couple shots I took tonight while playing with yet another rented lens. This one is Canon's 24-70 2.8 USM. It's nice, heavy, but nice and quiet. Renting is really great for me, a super way to try it out under demand and see if I want to buy it. This one is a "must have"! My daughter suprized me, while playing in our front window and posing for me tonight. She soon got bored and started jabbering and goofing off, which usually leads to the really great shots as she lets her gaurd down and her personality show (or a frustrated Mom giving up). She said "Mommy, let me show you something" And made this heart with her hands then told me she loved me. Awe, melt my heart... I had never seen this done with fingers. My daughter has taught me so many many things about letting go and just "being" since she has joined us, she is truly a blessing!
This one I caught while something outside distraced her for a fleeting second, moments later she was bouncing off the walls again!

Something Special
Here's another shot I took this last weekend, photoshoped up just a touch :) Depending on your monitor, it might look too dark, sorry if it does, can't control everything I guess! Cyndie

Bay Mare
Another Arabian horse this week. can you believe this mare is 18! She is gorgous of course, I had a lot of fun photographing her, she was so animated and really got into it, like she was showing off for the camera.
I am off to Spanaway tomorrow, overnight to shoot for a new client who has her horse there, so watch for even more Arabian photos coming next week!

Window to the soul...
Here are my shots for the day, while hanging around at Hartman's Equine Center today, I had the opportunity to play a bit, and I got this shot in the afternoon light. This is "Bey Intuishahn E" an own son of Enzo. He is standing out at Hartman's, and to anyone looking to breed to an arabian, this is the most wonderful and gorgeous stallion! And the few foals I have seen so far are outstanding!
Keep an eye out here for some of his foals I am scheduled to shoot soon, and a full photo shoot of him also! I had to share...... This is the sire of the filly below :)

Kudos!
I recently received this feedback from a client and had to share, it's all of you guys out there that keep me going. Thank you Barbara!
Cyndie,
Both packages have arrived and the prints are
fantastic! The colors are vibrant and the images
crystal clear.
It has been a lot of fun working with you from
start to finish. You have an eye for background
and settings. Your talent for capturing the
essence of the horse is evident by the varied
moods and expressions in the proofs. Selecting
the best images for a collage was a nice option.
Every step of the process was personable and
professional.
Thank you for taking the time to produce quality
work.
Sincerely,
Barbara
