Wild horses

I am here in Eastern Oregon, photographing wild horses and anything else that comes along. We pulled into an RV park yesterday with wifi access, so here are a few sneak peeks for your viewing pleasure, these are from the Steens Mt Herd.

Yes we really got that close, thank you goes out to Charles Hilton as I am positive I would not have gotten these shots without his advice and help! I really wish you were here Charles!

Other than horses

As a few of you know, I am in Eastern Oregon photographing wild things. Blogger wouldn't let me upload last night, but things seems to be going well today. Here are some images "other than" the wild horses I really came here to "shoot". We are seeing many antelope, deer and everything is utterly (ha ha pun intended) overflowing with cows :)

We arrived in Burns this afternoon, and I have wi fi! Woo hoo! Lots to chat about and show, but we are off for an evening scouting.

A super quick teaser, we found Steens, Keiger, and the Diamond herds, I have FANTASTIC pictures, it's an amazing journey, unfortunately I cannot upload right now, so shots to come!

Off and running

Hello all, as I run through panting...

As you probably know, summer is insanely fun for me. Between jobs shooting and family it is never-ending activity. I am leaving and will be out of the "office" until the end of July to go photograph the "wild things" in the Steens Mts in South Central Oregon. Specifically we are looking for the wild horse herds but of course I will take whatever comes my way. I'm looking forward to a mini work vacation, and will post when I return. I hope everyone is enjoying their summer here as well. I have plenty of bookings left in Aug and September, and hope to see you soon!

I almost never take time to play around and shoot things like flowers. The light was wonderful this evening, and I decided, why not....? While we were getting ready to do fireworks, I grabbed my camera and shot what I could find. Here are a few images from the night. Smoke bombs and flowers...

I just thought I would share, here's the image they chose to use. It's always interesting what the client purchases, this time I happen to agree and it was one I liked as well, but so many times it is something I almost culled, so I have learned to just show everything I shoot and not worry.

Time Flies!

Whew, it is great to be working a lot, but it doesn't leave much time to blog! I'm doing some catch up on some resent shoots.
