flower fun,
I almost never take time to play around and shoot things like flowers. The light was wonderful this evening, and I decided, why not....? While we were getting ready to do fireworks, I grabbed my camera and shot what I could find. Here are a few images from the night. Smoke bombs and flowers...

Cyndie these are beautiful, hope you enjoy the new equipment!!! The tripod and head will benefit you afar more on your trip than a longer lens, stability on the long end is vital and hand held just doesnt do it for what you are planning on shooting
